How
do I reserve a court?
You may call up to seven days in advance and
reserve a court with a credit card (Visa and
MasterCard only). We are no longer accepting
spot-time numbers.

Do
I need to be a member?
No. East Potomac Tennis Center (EPTC) is a
public facility located on beautiful National
Park Service land. |

Can
I rent a court on a walk-in basis?
Yes. Please call EPTC at (202) 554-5962 for
court availability. |

How
much does it cost for a court?
Rates vary for seasons and for the time of
day you wish to play. Please visit our rates section. |

How
do I sign up for a contract?
Each year in spring, EPTC has a lottery drawing
for winter and spring contract times. After
the lottery is completed, individuals may sign
up on a first come first serve basis. Please
contact the Manager at: eptennisprograms@guestservices.com for more information. |

do I sign up for lessons and what are the
rates?

What
are the cancellation policies?
Cancellation policies
for both lessons and court time are 24 hours
advanced notice. Any
cancellation after the 24 hour period is non-refundable.
Cancellations made in advance will be issued
a credit for court time. Please visit the lesson section
for more information regarding lesson cancellations. |

What
are the hours of operation?
Hours of operation are Monday to Sunday 7am
to 10pm. Summer hours are subject to change.
We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and
New Years Days. |

I am a complete, uncoordinated
beginner. Can I learn tennis?
Yes. Anyone can learn tennis, but you will have to make the effort to practice
in addition to lessons. |

Are
racquets available for rent?
Yes. EPTC offers Wilson and Head tennis racquets
for demos and sales. Please visit the racquet
stringing and sales section. |

a ball machine available for rent?

Can
I bring my own coach to the facility?
No. It is against EPTC and National Park Service
policies to bring your own coach to the facility.
If a member of our staff observes this conduct,
you will be asked to leave the premises and
your time will not be refunded. |

Will
I be charged if I play for longer than an hour?
Yes. If you decide to play after your scheduled
time, you will be charged the rate for a minimum
one half hour. |

Will
I be charged for starting early?
Yes. If you decide to walk on and play tennis
before your scheduled time, you will be charged
the rate for a minimum of one half hour. |
