Improve your game with a professional tennis lesson! Have a great workout in our group clinics or work on a specific part of your game with a one-on-one private lesson. Lessons can be tailored for players interested in working on strategy, consistency, and strokes.

EPTC is excited to launch its new exclusive Early Bird tennis program! With the addition of Vlatko Bosevski to the EPTC team, we are now able to offer a range of programs and classes designed for players at a variety of skill levels. Please e-mail for more information to schedule an evaluation.

8am-9:30am with Pro Vlatko. Work on the two most important shots for tennis that are the least practiced. Our new "serve machine" ball machine will be used! Levels 3.0 to 4.0 welcome, cost is $45 per class. You may register via email to or by calling 202-554-5962.

Joe's clinics take place Saturday mornings 12:00pm - 3:00pm. Levels are 3.5/4.0 (12:00pm-1:30pm) and 4.0/4.5 (1:30pm-3:00pm). From mid-November through February, Joe also offers a 4.0+ class on Sundays from 10:00am-12:00pm. These classes are extremely popular and sign up is only available online. Cost is $50 for 1.5 hours and $66 for 2 hours. For any additional questions on these weekend clinics please contact Joe directly at

Definition of Levels
1.0 Players just starting to play tennis
1.5 Players with limited playing experience working primarily on getting the ball over the net.  

This player has some knowledge of scoring but is not familiar with basic positions and procedures for singles and doubles.
2.0/2.5 Player has had some lessons but needs on-court experience, is learning to judge where the ball is going,  has weak court coverage or is often caught out of position but is starting to keep the ball in play with other players of the same ability
3.0 This player can place shots with moderate success, can sustain a rally of slow pace but is not comfortable with all strokes, lacks control when trying for power.
3.5 This player has achieved stroke dependability and direction on shots within reach, including forehand and backhand volleys, but still lacks depth and variety; seldom double faults and occasionally forces errors on the serve.
4.0 This player has dependable strokes on both forehand and backhand sides, has the ability to use a variety of shots including lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys, can place the first serve and force some error, is seldom out of position in a doubles game.
4.5 This player has begun to master the use of power and spins, has sound footwork; can control depth of shots and is able to move opponents up and back; can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve; is able to rush the net with some success on serve in singles as well as doubles


To register for lessons, please call 202-554-5962, Monday thru Friday 8am-3pm. Please check our schedule and specify the days and times in which you are interested. For questions, please send an email to . You will be charged at the time you make the reservation for court rentals and lessons. You may also register online for group lessons but need to email to setup a private or semi-private lesson. Please login for a list of classes and online registration

All lessons prices are per person per hour.

Private Lessons:  $90/hr - all day, every day of the week
                             $50- 30 minute private lessons

Semi-Private: $104 per hour all times or $52/hr per person

Adult Group & Early Bird Lessons: $200 for a 5 week session, 1.5 hours
  $135 for a 5 week session, 1 hour
  $  30/hr drop-in fee | $45 for 1.5 hr class
  drop-in lessons are on a first come first serve basis. If we except the maximum allowable drop-ins ahead of you and the class is full you will be turned away. Please call ahead of time to find out how many available spots are open and plan on arriving 15-25 minutes early to sign up for your drop-in spot

Joe's Drop-In Classes

$50 per person per class (1.5hrs), may reserve several weeks in advance and pay for each class at the time of booking

One make-up class permitted for every 5 or 7 week session with 24-hour notice prior to missing a class via email to . Make-ups must take place in current session on a space available basis only. No refunds once course begins. Course cancellation fee prior to start of class is $25. GSI will not be held liable for any injuries. Classes may have Pro subs at any time without notice.

By submitting payment for court time or classes I have carefully read, clearly understood and accepted the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate and for all members of my family, including minor children.
